The company has been successfully competing with major domestic and foreign companies on the construction market in Northwest Russia. This is possible thanks to strictly centralized management of all 23 structural subdivisions and a full range of engineering maintenance services, in-house construction-industry plants, motor vehicle fleets and a mechanization department. The subdivisions of DSCT-3 Russian Spetsstroy, themselves quite independent, work on various sites in the city, always meeting contract commitments. The main components of the company’s successful activity are the following: — ability to perform the complete cycle of industrial, civil and housing construction from development of territory to turnkey completion; — application of modern technologies and the best building materials at reasonable prices; — guaranteed quality and the shortest terms possible. Up until the mid-90s the main specialization of DSCT-3 was building scientific-production complexes according to individually-developed plans. Tens of scientific-research institutes, plants and laboratory wings were built at record speed. Some of the company’s main clients are LOMO, Avangard, Rubin, Almaz, Svetlana, Zarya, Okeanpribor, Ekran, Impuls, GOI, ship-yards in Severodvinsk and many others. In addition to industrial building, DSCT-3 has pursued an extensive housing program that resulted in the erection of hundreds of buildings with a total area of 1 million square meters. Since the mid-90s DSCT-3, working successfully as a subcontractor on the changing Northwest construction market, has built tens of office buildings and banks. Several elite housing complexes have been erected. Among these are the House on the Neva, the Green Island cottage complex (one of the nominees for the state prize in architecture, 2000). The company has rebuilt the «Zeleny Bor» pension in the town of Luga, carried out considerable construction and installation work during construction of the Philip Morris Izhora plant, the Caterpillar and Sosna plants. Currently the company is a participant in construction of the Ford Motors plant in Vsevolozhsk, the Alexandrov Scientific-Research Technical Institute in the town of Sosnovy Bor, the dam to protect Saint Petersburg from flooding, and dozens of other sites. As a part of the Central Bank of Russia program, in 1996-2000 the enterprise erected in St. Petersburg a complex of Interregional Depository with an area of more than 50,000 square meters; the buildings of the RF Central Bank Main Directorate in Leningrad region with an area of more than 12,000 square meters; a complex of buildings of the Accounts Center with an area of 23,000 square meters. By our forces in eighteen months there was erected a complex of the RF Central Bank Main Directorate in Pskov with an area of 12,000 square meters. In 30 km from Pskov in a year the company built a super-modern Krivsk vacation complex, which includes the blocked cottages, a 2-storey hotel, a covered swimming pool with a water amusement park and the gyms. Both objects were judged the best examples of civil construction in Pskov region over the past 20 years. DSCT-3 considers one of its priorities ensuring durability, reliability and efficiency of the buildings and structures it produces by continually increasing the quality of execution of building and installation work.
